紅橘（橘子）是柑橘類的三大原生種之一。（三大原生種分別為：枸櫞Citrus medica / 橘子Citrus reticulata / 柚子Citrus grandis）栽種的歷史超過3000年，自古便在中國及印度栽種。
紅橘果子較小，果實扁而外皮薄帶紅色。跟所有柑橘類精油一樣，紅橘也擅長處理滿腹委屈的情況。它的氣味在輕盈開朗中又帶有一些沉穩謐靜的感覺。特別適合夜不安寢的嬰幼兒使用。
